Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has his hands full with many exciting projects like Laabam, Sanga Tamizhan, Sethupathi 2, Venkata Roganth Krishna's debut movie, Tughlak, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Uppena and many more movies which are in various stages of making.

The actor had signed to play an extended cameo in the upcoming Malayalam movie Marconi Mathayi, directed by Sunil Kalathil and this movie will have actor Jayaram and Manam Kothi Paravai fame Athmiya playing the lead roles. Even before the release of this movie, which is Vijay Sethupathi's Malayalam debut, he has reportedly bagged his next.

The latest speculation making rounds is that, impressed by Vijay Sethupathi's acting, a Malayalam director had approached the actor for a direct Malayalam movie, and reportedly the actor has given his nod as well. Besides, the director has also roped in Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Mammootty to play leads in this project and this movie will release in Tamil as well as per reports. An official clarification on thin exciting combo is expected soon.
