Ram Charan starrer Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, continues to build massive anticipation ahead of its release. Featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, the film has been one of the most talked-about pan-India projects ever since its announcement.
As the makers gear up to release the much-awaited trailer on May 18, they have now unveiled Jagapathi Babu’s character from the film. The veteran actor will be seen as “Appalasoori,” and his intense new look from the sets has instantly grabbed attention on social media.

With every promotional asset, Peddi is emerging as one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of 2026. Be it the teaser, posters, or the chartbuster songs “Chikiri Chikiri” and “Rai Rai Raa Raa,” each piece of content has successfully pulled audiences deeper into the world of the film.
The music composed by A. R. Rahman has become one of the film’s major highlights. The first single, “Chikiri Chikiri,” crossed over 200 million views across platforms, while the second track, “Rai Rai Raa Raa,” amassed more than 66 million views on YouTube, further amplifying the hype.
Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also stars Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles.
