‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ Second Look Poster and Release Date Announced!

“சண்டை போடாத ஜோடியே இல்லைன்னு சொல்லுவாங்க… ஆனா இவங்க சண்டை மட்டுமே போடுற ஜோடி!” With this interesting tagline, the highly anticipated second look poster of ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ has been officially released, thrilling the fans.

Released in 2022, the blockbuster film ‘Gatta Kusthi’ left audiences in splits with its story centered around a husband-wife ego clash and the sport of wrestling. Following the massive success of the first film, its sequel is currently gearing up in full swing.

Leading actor Vishnu Vishal shared this second look poster on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, making an official announcement that the film will hit theaters worldwide on July 3, 2026. His caption, “Get ready for ultimate entertainment in theatres,” has sparked immense excitement among fans.

Director Chella Ayyavu, who impressed everyone by directing the first installment, returns to helm this second part as well.

Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi pair up once again as the popular ‘Veera – Keerthi’ couple. Along with them, Karunas, Munishkanth, and Kaali Venkat, who guaranteed laughs in the first part, will be seen playing pivotal roles.

The film is being produced on a grand scale as a joint venture by Vishnu Vishal’s ‘VV Studioz’ and Ishari K. Ganesh’s ‘Vels Film International’.

Adding new strength to this second installment, the leading and talented composer Sean Roldan has scored the music for the film.

In the climax of ‘Gatta Kusthi’ part one, the film ended on a happy note with Keerthi winning the wrestling match and the couple welcoming a baby girl. The story of this sequel is expected to revolve around the interesting and humorous conflicts that unfold in their family life after that.
