We all know that Lokesh Kanagaraj is going to direct Vijay for the second time in 'Thalapathy 67'. The buzz is that the upcoming project has minted around Rs 240 crores in pre-business though the official announcement hasn't been made yet. Fans are super hyped for this untitled film.

The hot news is that the makers have planned to release a special video to announce 'Thalapathy 67'. Reportedly, director Lokesh is shooting for the film's teaser from Monday and Vijay is taking part in the filming. It is worth mentioning that Lokesh's previous movie, 'Vikram', was announced with a title teaser on Kamal Haasan's birthday in 2020.

As per the sources, the latest we hear is that the 'Thuppakki' actor will start the full-fledged shooting for Thalapathy 67 in January 2023. A major portion of the movie will be shot in Kashmir. However, the crew might commence the filming with a small schedule a little earlier. Lokesh has finalized the script and has begun the pre-production works already.

Thalapathy 67 will be the first proper Pan-Indian film for Vijay as the project will feature stars from Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj had planned this film on a mega scale, produced by Seven Screen Studio. Rockstar Anirudh, who scored music for the duo's 'Master', will be composing music for this project as well.
