Vanitha Vijayakumar the eldest daughter of veteran actor Vijayakumar and his late second wife actress Manjula has been very much in the news the past week. Vijayakumar lodged a complaint against her and she was ousted from a house in Alapakkam, Chennai which she allegedly hired for shooting and then occupied it. Vanitha has been giving statements against Vijayakumar, step-brother Arun Vijay and her brother in law director Hari.

In one of the interviews Vanitha stated that she and dance master/actor Robert are very very close and planned to marry but since he had problems divorcing his wife it got cancelled. Robert speaking to newsmen denied having any personal relationship with Vanitha and wondered why she is making such untrue statements. He stated that he is happily married to Krishna Priya since 2007 and has a daughter Arshitha. He requested the press not to post any such news about him without clarifiying and stated that he jointly produced a film with Vanitha and had purely a working relationship with her.
