Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor had made his Kollywood debut last year with the Ajith Kumar starrer Ner konda paarvai directed by H Vinoth, following which he’s producing his next Tamil movie Valimai, again with the hit combination Ajith and H Vinoth.
On the other end, Boney Kapoor has been producing several Bollywood movies as well, and one of them is Maidaan directed by Amit Sharma who had directed the hit movie Badhaai Ho. Maidaan was initially supposed to release on December 11, but now has been preponed.
Starring Ajay Devgn as football legend Syed Abdul Rahim, known as the father of Indian football, this movie’s release has been advanced to August 13 on independence day weekend. The movie also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh.
