Sundar C is widely known for his rib-tickling funny movies like "Muraimaman," "Ulathai Allitha," "Mettukudi," and "Arunachalam" and still draws supporters for more serious works like "Anbe Shivam". While being a successful director , he turned into an actor for his film "Nagaram." Continuing with this newfound role in his acting career his next project is the sequel "Thalainagarm 2" alongside director V.Z Durai.
Recently during an interview with a YouTube channel, Sundar C was questioned regarding why comedian Vadivelu would not be included in the upcoming film "ThalaiNagaram 2". He explained how Vadivelu received high praise following appearances in another one of his directorial ventures called "Nagaram".
However, Sundar C clarified that comedic scenes account for roughly forty-five minutes exclusive of the total runtime of around two hours. While understanding viewers' approval and admiration of Vadivelu's talent and performance style, it has resulted in conflicts over an equitable balance across the broader movie when considering different elements. Thus, incorporating comedy in "Thalainagaram 2" may not ultimately increase its appeal to audiences according to Sundar C.
