However, Upendra was quick to address the rumors. Taking to social media platform X.com (formerly Twitter), he reassured his followers that there was no cause for concern. In a message originally written in Kannada, he clarified that he is in good health and that his hospital visit was simply for a routine check-up. He also urged people not to believe the misleading reports.
The translated version of his message reads: “Hello everyone.. I am healthy.. I just visited the hospital for a regular check-up.. Don’t be confused by any speculations.. Thank you very much for your love and care.”
