The trailer of ZEE5’s latest Telugu original, Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting, is out now — and it promises a thrilling, edge-of-the-seat ride packed with mystery, suspense, and drama.
Set in the eerie fictional village of Viraatapalem, the series stars Abhignya Vuthaluru in the lead role as Police Constable Meena, who steps into a deeply superstitious village reeling from a disturbing mystery: young brides are dying mysteriously within a day of their wedding. The villagers believe it’s a curse — but Meena thinks otherwise.
Directed by Poluru Krishna and produced by KV Sriram under the South Indian Screens banner, the series is set to premiere exclusively on ZEE5 from June 27.
A Chilling Mystery in a Cursed Village
Set in the rural village of Viraatapalem, the plot centers around a disturbing pattern — newlywed brides are dying mysteriously within a day of their marriage. The terrified villagers believe the tragedies are the result of a longstanding village curse.
Enter PC Meena, played by Abhignya Vuthaluru — a determined police constable who steps into this superstitious community to uncover the truth. As Meena digs deeper, she is pulled into a complex web of secrets, age-old beliefs, and chilling revelations, putting her own life on the line to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Apart from Abhignya, the series features a talented supporting cast including Charan Lakkaraju, Lavanya Sahukara, Ramaraju, Gowtham Raju, and Satish.
The series is written by Divya Thejaswi Pera, with a screenplay crafted by Vikram Kumar Kandimalla. Music and background score are composed by Rohit Kumar, while Mahesh K Swaroop handles cinematography and Farooq Hundekar serves as the editor.
