Tokyo Olympics: Indian wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya assures the silver medal and aiming for the gold!

Indian players are having a great day at the Tokyo Olympics 2021. The 23-year-old boxer Lovlina has pocketed the bronze medal in Women’s welterweight boxing.  So far, Our nation has won 3 medals in this edition of the Olympics and all three were won by women players.

Our male athletes are yet to open account their medal account officially but technically they have assured 2 medals for the country today. Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra showcased his exemplary skills today and qualified to the finals of Men’s Javelin Throw this morning.

The 23-year-old athlete made a stunning throw of 86.65m that put him on the top of the Group A contest which made him qualify directly to the finals and assures a silver or bronze for India. If Neeraj manages to finish best in the finals too, then India will have the gold in its possession.

Now, our wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya confirms another medal for India as he moves to the gold medal match in the Men’s 57kg freestyle category with a win by fall against Nurislam Sanayev of Kazakhstan. This victory assures us the silver medal and now our champion has a great possibility of winning gold.

Experts say that they witnessed one of the finest and most dramatic comebacks in this game by Ravi Kumar Dahiya. Meanwhile, Indian wrestler Deepak Punia lost in the semis and will play for the bronze medal tomorrow in Men’s 86kg freestyle category.
