‘Acharya’: Here is the official update on progress

The shoot of ‘Acharya’, which began in 2019, is almost completed. Producer Niranjan Reddy on Wednesday revealed that the talkie part was wrapped up on July 31. 

Only two songs are pending to be shot. And the entire shoot, including patchworks, will be completed very soon. 

In the second half of this month, a song will be shot on the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan duo. This update shows that the father-son duo will be sharing screen space in the movie and that Charan is not limited to the scenes in which his father is not seen.

The last song of the movie will be canned on the ‘RRR’ actor and Pooja Hegde, who is his romantic interest in the Koratala Siva directorial. 

The post-production works are also going on simultaneously. They will be completed at a fast pace. It’s assumed that the entire works will be wrapped up by the end of September. 

With music and cinematography by Mani Sharma and S Tirru, respectively, ‘Acharya’ has Kajal Aggarwal as Chiru’s heroine. The film is yet to lock its release date.
