I am a huge fan of Vijay Sethupathi for this reason – TN Finance Minister PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan

The Tamil Nadu Finance Minister PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan has caught the imagination of the youth of the state due to his clear vision and simple articulation of complicated economics and commerce.  He has also won the admiration of even his political rivals and is one of the most inspiring personalities currently.

The national level senior basketball tournament started yesterday (3.4.2022) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. There are 16 teams in the men’s division and 15 teams in the women’s division. Winners of the tournament, which runs until the 10th, will be eligible to participate in international competitions.  Palanivel Thiagarajan and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi addressed the inaugural function.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Thiagarajan said, “Like millions of people, I am a fan of Vijay Sethupathi.  He speaks boldly about issues he feels for unmindful of which government is ruling.”

Vijay Sethupathi on his part first started the mutual admiration by telling Thiagarajan that he is a big fan his of his clear vision and expression and feels that he is in safe hands thanks to the minister.  The busy actor also added that sports is one area where caste, creed and other disparities are absent.  He urged that more efforts should be taken to completely do away with discrimination happening in certain schools even to this day.
