Simbu Shares Iconic ‘Thug Life’ Photo Celebrating Cinema Student Music

The much-anticipated movie “Thug Life,” directed by Mani Ratnam and starring legendary actor Kamal Haasan, is set to release in the first week of next month. The film has already generated significant excitement among fans.

“Thug Life” features a star-studded cast including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR (also known as Simbu), Trisha, Ashok Selvan, and Nasser, with music composed by maestro A.R. Rahman. The film is being produced under Kamal Haasan’s own banner, Raj Kamal Films International.

Amidst the buzz, actor Silambarasan shared a photo on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle with the hashtag #ThugLife. The caption read, “Cinema – Student – Music”, quickly catching attention and being shared widely.

The official trailer for “Thug Life” is scheduled for release on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and the audio launch event will take place on May 24. As excitement continues to grow, fans eagerly await the film’s theatrical release.
