Thalapathy Vijay visits Ajith Kumar’s house to personally console him over his dad’s death

Ajith Kumar one of the topmost heroes of Tamil cinema lost his father P. Subramaniam (age 85) today.  Ajith and his brother conducted the last rites of the 85 year old at the Besant Nagar crematorium.  Top Kollywood celebrities including Kamal Haasan and Simbu and politicians including TN Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Udhayandhi Stalin consoled the family in person and on social media.

Ajith’s arch professional rival and close friend Thalapathy Vijay visited the Ajith residence at Injambakkam on the ECR in Chennai to convey his grief to Ajith and his family members.  It is said that Vijay traveled in a lesser used car than his usual luxury ones that fans are familiar with.

Ajith and Vijay according to sources close to both have maintained that in spite of their professional rivalry have been close family friends over the years.  Vijay rushing to be by Ajith’s side at the time of such grief is yet another proof of their close bonding.
