Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for the final schedule of 'Varisu'. We already reported to you that the filming is going on in Ennore port near Chennai. Fans flocked to the shooting spot in huge numbers at the sets and Vijay came out and waved his hands at them yesterday.

Now, the latest hot news is that the 'Varisu' shooting got cancelled today. As per the reports, today's filming was cancelled due to the heavy rain in the Ennore surroundings. The team has planned to wrap up the entire shooting by next month. Rashmika Mandanna is paired opposite Vijay in 'Varisu' which is being made in Tamil and Telugu by Vamshi Paidipally.

Produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, Varisu is on track for a Pongal 2023 release. The film also stars Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Ganesh Venkatraman, Samyuktha and others in prominent roles. Thaman is composing the music while Karthick Palani handles the visuals.
