Is this the actual ‘Mersal’ story?

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ directed by Atlee is one of the biggest Diwali releases this year awaited by millions of fans worldwide. With only two more days to the film’s release, internet is abuzz with rumors and predictions about the ‘Mersal’ story.

Going by the rumors, it could be expected that magician Vettri disguises the name of his brother Maran to kidnap and kill some people from the hospital. When the police catches up with Vettri on his wrongdoings, Vettri  narrates the story of his father Vettrimaran who does good for the people as Thalapathy.

But things take a wrong turn when Thalpathy learns of the improper procedure by Daniel in want of money, the confrontation ends up in Vetrimaran being killed by Daniel. Magician Vettri reminds his brother Maran who has lost his memory of all the atrocities and the pair embark on a mission to avenge their father’s death by putting an end to Daniel’s life.

Even though these story rumours are spreading like wildfire in Internet, fans will have to wait two more long days to discern if they are true after all.
