Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’ team reacts to government warning

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’ first look poster has raised a controversy because he is seen with a cigarette dangling on his lips.  The Public Health department sent a notice to Vijay, A.R. Murugadoss and Sun Pictures asking them to remove the said image.

Sun Pictures has removed the controversial ‘Sarkar’ image from their social media pages in compliance to the notice sent by the PHD.  The film that has music by A.R. Rahman has Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi and Pazha Karuppaiah in the cast.  The fast progressing film is the most awaited Diwali release this year.
