Thalapathy Vijay’s collaboration with director Venkat Prabhu for his 68th film created a lot of expectations among the fans. The maker is known for his path-breaking films like ‘Chennai 600028’, ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Maanaadu’. Even for ‘Thalapathy 68’, the works began with the 3D VFX scan of the beloved Vijay.
We already informed you in this regard that the de-ageing technology will be incorporated in some portions of this film and the actor’s 3D scan will be used for the same. Now, the hot buzz is that the fans will get to enjoy Vijay’s early 2000s look again in Thalapathy 68. Reportedly, the makers have spent around 6 crores for the de-ageing.
Sources tell us that Vijay will appear with his vintage look in the movie for around 10 minutes. This is going to be a huge nostalgic factor for the fans. The shooting is currently going on in Hyderabad with Top Star Prashanth and Laila. This is a short schedule and the team will soon fly to Istanbul for the next schedule of Thalapathy 68.
The film has Thalapathy Vijay in multiple looks and it also boasts an ensemble cast comprising Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Mic Mohan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Ajmal, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Yugendran, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music with DOP by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen.
