We broke the news first to you that Vijay's next movie after 'Leo', tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 68' will be directed by Venkat Prabhu for leading production house AGS Entertainment. The official announcement is expected in a month's time on Vijay's birthday to be precise on June 22nd.

Since Venkat Prabhu has always worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja fans were excited that the combo will continue. It may be recalled that Vijay and Yuvan have collaborated only once before in 'Puthiya Geethai' released a couple of decades back. Fans of both Vijay and Yuvan have been posting on social media that the much awaited dream combo will finally happen in 'Thalapathy 68'.

However unconfirmed sources are now suggesting that Yuvan Shankar Raja may not be a part of 'Thalapathy 68' due to undisclosed reasons. Similarly there is also a talk that VP's brother Premgi Amaren who has appeared in all his elder brother's films will also not have a role.

However when we contacted sources close to the project we got the info that at the moment VP is busy writing the screenplay and it is too early to talk about any cast and crew details. Lets wait and watch for the official announcements to come in a couple of months regarding all things pertaining to 'Thalapathy 68'.
