Ashu Reddy Responds Strongly After Fraud Complaint, Warns Against “False News”

Ashu Reddy has broken her silence after a fraud complaint filed against her in Hyderabad triggered widespread discussion online. The actress, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss Telugu, issued a firm warning, stating that legal action will be taken against those spreading unverified or false information about her.

In an Instagram story, Ashu Reddy made her stance clear, emphasizing that any news circulated without her consent especially misleading claims would face “severe legal action.” Her response comes at a time when the allegations have gained significant traction on social media.

The controversy stems from a complaint lodged at the Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) by London-based NRI software engineer Y. V. Dharmendra and his father. The complaint accuses the actress of financial fraud linked to a personal relationship.

As per the allegations, Dharmendra claims that Ashu Reddy promised to marry him and, based on that assurance, he invested around ₹9.35 crore in various ventures and high-value assets at her request. These reportedly include luxury purchases and other financial commitments.

He further alleges that after receiving the funds, Ashu Reddy and her family withdrew from the marriage proposal and cut off communication. Claiming he was deceived, he approached the authorities, leading to an official investigation.

With the case now under probe, all eyes are on how the situation unfolds, even as Ashu Reddy maintains a strong defensive stance against the circulating claims.
