Fans of both the mass heroes are hoping for them to share the screenspace and there is a chance of their dream coming true sooner rather than later. According to Tollywood reports director Vamshi Paidipally has approached Mahesh Babu to play a powerful role in his new movie 'Thalapathy 66'.

Vamshi already gave a huge blockbuster for MB in the form of 'Maharshi' and they are very close to each other. The reports add that he is also happy to work with Vijay and if dates permit will give his nod soon. If this turns out to be true then the screens in both the states will light up with festivity to watch the magic of Vijay and Mahesh Babu in the same frame.

'Thalapathy 66' has music by Thaman and is produced by Dil Raju with the ensemble cast of Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Srikanth, Shaam, Prakash Raj, Sangeetha, Khushbu, Samyuktha and Yogi Babu.
