The road ahead is pretty exciting for Tamil cinema as the coronavirus third wave is showing signs of receding. Two of the biggest projects of Kollywood namely ‘AK61’ and ‘Thalapathy 66’ will go on floors in the coming weeks.
‘Thalapathy 66’ is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju marking the foray of Thalapathy Vijay into Telugu cinema for the first time ever in his career spanning two and a half decades.
On the other hand Ajith Kumar is reuniting with his ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ and ‘Valimai’ director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for the third time with ‘AK61.
Now reports suggest that there is the likelihood of a strong connection between ‘Thalapathy 66’ and ‘AK61’ in the form of Prakash Raj. It is said that the veteran character actor has been approached for pivotal roles in both the films.
In the past Prakashraj, has starred in several films with both Ajith and Vijay, in films such as ‘Aasai’, ‘Raasi’, ‘Paramasivam’, ‘Ghilli’, ‘Villu’ and ‘Aadhi’.
