Thala Ajith and Thalapathy Vijay made their acting debuts at much about the same period and their growth as arch-rivals on-screen has been phenomenal in the past three decades. The mass heroes have however kept their professional rivalry aside and are family friends in real life. Their fans however do not see the truth and indulge in battles and wars on social media trying to prove who is the numero uno of Kollywood.
A rumor started out today that Ajith called Vijay and enquired about the well being of his son Sanjay who is on his higher studies in Canada, which is also under lockdown due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Sources close to Ajith have confirmed that no such call was made and that the news doing the rounds if false. If at all Vijay and Ajith have to converse with each other they would do it in private and will never make it a public topic of discussion or issue is the takeaway from this one.
Vijay’s next release is ‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi while Ajith will resume shooting for his ‘Valimai’ directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.
