As we had reported earlier Lyca Productions the big ticket production house has planned to produced the Bollywood remake of their debut Tamil venture 'Kaththi' which turned out to be the blockbuster of 2014.

The Bollywood version will have Akshay Kumar in the lead role and the remake is expected to be helmed by A.R.Murugadoss who wrote and directed the original.

Now we have news that Tapsee is likely to be roped in for the lead heroine role played by Samantha in Tamil.

Tapsee has earlier acted with Akki in 'Baby' and the 'Kaththi' remake shall be her second film with the Bollywood superstar.

It must be noted that Tapsee will be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in a film to be directed by National award winning director Anirudha Roy Choudhary.

Seems 2016 is going to be a memorable year for Tapsee in India`s glitteriest industry.
