Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed a mega detail during the pre-release event of ‘Sye Raa’, which was held on Sunday evening. He said that the climax of the movie had cost a bomb. For someone who doesn’t talk about budget and related issues, it was truly interesting coming from him.
“There comes a battle episode in the climax. It was shot for 45 days in Georgia. The huge schedule saw an expenditure of Rs 75 Cr,” the legendary actor said, praising his son Ram Charan for committing astronomical figures.
The budget owes itself to two factors: the involvement of thousands of junior artists (to be seen as foot soldiers), and the heavy VFX-laden action shots. The biopic, in total, has got 3,800 VFX shots, which is 1,500 more than that of ‘Baahubali-2’. VFX supervisor Kamalkannan worked on the project.
The much-awaited patriotic movie will release on October 2.
