Suriya-starrer ‘NGK’, directed by Sri Raghava (aka Selvaragahvan), released on May 31. At a time when there is a lot of confusion regarding the hero’s character in the movie, the director has opened up on a “hidden layer”.
“Suriya’s character has been designed differently with two shades – as a hero in the first half and a villain in the second half,” the director begins saying. Not many have realized this aspect. “This unique characterization is thrilling This is the main reason for such good collections and tremendous applause for Suriya’s performance,” the director claims.
Starring Sai Pallavi as the hero’s wife and Rakul Preet Singh as a wily political PR strategist, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
