Superstar Rajinikanth is busy shooting for his new movie 'Jailer' produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film has music by Anirudh and it has been officially announced that Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu are in the cast.

Meanwhile according to reliable sources, popular child star Rithvik has joined the cast of 'Jailer'. The social media sensation who has millions of followers who love his multiple getups made his big screen debut as Nayanthara's son in 'O2'. His addition has given rise to speculations that he may be playing the grandson of Rajinikanth in the film.

Recently in the all time blockbuster hit 'Vikram', Kamal played a character close to the age of his real life and a child who played his grandson had an important role in the film. Similarly the first look poster of 'Jailer' shows that Rajini too is playing an aged character and thats why comparisons are drawn on social media.
