Superstar Rajinikanth got admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad on Friday after he suffered from fluctuating blood pressure. He is being monitored by the doctors who have stated that his condition is stable and is likely to be discharged on Sunday evening.

Earlier last week four crew members of the 'Annaathe' film for which Rajini was shooting at the Ramoji Rao Film City tested positive for COVID 19. Rajini however tested negative in all types of tests.

Malayalam megastar Mammootty posted a special message to his contemporary writing "Get well soon Soorya..Anpudan Deva". It is worth recalling that Rajini and Mammootty shared screen space in the 1991 blockbuster hit movie 'Thalapathy' directed by Mani Ratnam.

In 'Thalapathy' Mammootty played the role of an underworld don Deva and Rajini his trusted right hand man Soorya. Fans are touched by on legendary star's gesture to another connecting their memorable film together.
