Comedian-turned-hero Satya reunites with filmmaker Ritesh Rana for Jetlee, a quirky entertainer packed with eccentric humour and chaotic storytelling. Known for their offbeat sensibilities, the duo seems to have amplified their signature style this time making it louder, bolder, and far more unpredictable. Produced by Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Peddamallu under Clap Entertainment, with Mythri Movie Makers presenting, the film had already created decent buzz through its teaser, trailer, and songs. Now, the newly released trailer raises expectations further.
Unlike earlier promos that kept the plot under wraps, the release trailer finally reveals the central conflict. The story revolves around Prajapathi, a conman who swindles money from middle-class families and escapes to Dubai. His disappearance sparks a government-led manhunt, assigning a secret agent to capture him. What follows is a chaotic chase that escalates mid-flight, turning a routine mission into absolute madness.
Satya appears in a role that smartly balances seriousness with absurd humour, consistently diffusing tension with his comic timing. Even in high-stakes action moments, he injects wit effortlessly. A standout moment where he mimics Chiranjeevi is likely to strike a chord with audiences.
Rhea Singha adds both glamour and narrative importance with a substantial role, while Ajay brings intensity as Prajapathi. Supporting actors Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha elevate the humour quotient with their impeccable timing.
Director Ritesh Rana leans fully into his trademark style dark comedy blended with exaggerated situations, all set within the unusual, confined space of a flight. Cinematographer Suresh Sarangam gives the film a slick, moody visual tone, while Kaala Bhairava’s background score enhances both tension and comedy.
Going by the trailer, Jetlee promises a wild, fast-paced entertainer filled with chaos, humour, and unexpected twists. With the film slated for release tomorrow, the excitement around it has clearly hit a new high.
