The students of Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology in Gujarat’s Surat are in the news for a noble gesture. They have contributed Rs 20 lakh to the families of the CRPF jawans who were recently martyred in the dastardly Pulwama terrorist attack.
They donated the amount by doing away with their annual cultural event named SPARSH. They are not celebrating the must-do event this year so that the valuable money can go to the Government of India’s Bharat Ke Veer fund.
The Pulwama carnage has severely angered many Indians. The outpouring of support for the country’s jawans is never-seen-before right now.
