Sreenu Vaitla collaborates with Gopichand

Gopichand, whose ‘Seetimaarr’ and ‘Pakka Commercial’ are his most recent films, is up for a new project. Sreenu Vaitla is his next director.

The ‘Dookudu’ director himself took to social media and confirmed the collaboration on the auspicious occasion of Dasara. He added that writer Gopi Mohan will be penning the film. Gopi Mohan has been a long-time creative associate of Vaitla, having teamed up with him on films like ‘Dookudu’, ‘Ready’, ‘Venky’, among others. 

The film is expected to go on the floors soon. It will hit the screens in 2023. Vaitla and Gopichand make for an interesting combination. 

Gopichand is currently doing a film with his ‘Lakshyam’ and ‘Loukyam’ director Sriwass. Dimple Hayathi of ‘Khiladi’ fame is its heroine. Yesteryear actress Khushbu has a key role in it. The film will hit the screens either towards the end of this year or early next year.
