Sivakarthikeyan the most family-friendly star of Tamil cinema enjoys one of the biggest openings for his films and has an elder brotherly image amongst young fans. Off-screen he is known to lend a helping hand to those in need and recently he helped young girl G Sahana achieve her dream of studying MBBS by footing the entrance exam tuition bills.

Young athlete Dhanalakshmi hailing from Trichy won the gold medal at the National level by in the 100 meters race which she clocked in 11.39 seconds. She has surpassed the record of India's most respected athlete Hima Das in the process.

Dhanalakshmi has shared that Sivakarthikeyan invited her to his office and not only congratulated her on her achievement but also presented her with a sports shoe. The 'Namma Veetu Pillai' star has also promised to help her in any way he can in the future.
On the movie front Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor' is all set to release in May followed by 'Ayalaan' by the end of the year. He is currently shooting for 'Don' directed by debutante Cibi Chakravarthy and costarring Priyanka Arul Mohan.
