Tamil cinema is buzzing with speculation about Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay, making his acting debut soon. Interestingly, unlike many star kids who choose acting as their first career, Jason initially stepped into the film industry as a director.
He made his directorial debut with Sigma, a stylish action entertainer starring Sundeep Kishan. However, the film failed to achieve the expected success. Following this, reports surfaced that Jason was exploring opportunities to make his debut as an actor and had started listening to scripts.
Now, the latest industry buzz suggests that director Keerthiswaran, who gained attention with Dude, is being considered to direct Jason Sanjay’s acting debut. Adding to the excitement, star filmmaker Atlee is reportedly planning to bankroll the project.
The speculation has quickly gained traction on social media, although there has been no official confirmation from the people involved.
Meanwhile, Keerthiswaran also has an upcoming project with actor Silambarasan TR (Simbu), which is expected to go on floors soon. If the latest reports turn out to be true, Jason Sanjay’s acting debut could become one of the most talked-about projects in Tamil cinema.
An official announcement regarding the cast, director and producer is awaited.
