Suriya’s upcoming crime thriller ‘Scene’ has completed its censor formalities and received a U/A certificate. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film has locked a runtime of 2 hours and 29 minutes and is gearing up for a theatrical release on November 6.
The film features Suriya in the lead role, with Naslen playing the antagonist. Blending crime, suspense and humour, the movie has generated curiosity among fans who are eager to see what the director has in store.
The makers have kept the film’s plot and key details under wraps to maintain the suspense ahead of its theatrical release. However, the promotional campaign has yet to create the expected excitement, particularly in the Telugu states.
With Scene arriving in theatres alongside Ramayana, the team may need to step up its promotional activities to improve the film’s visibility and reach a wider audience. Nevertheless, the makers are banking on the strength of the content to attract moviegoers.
Nazriya Fahadh plays the female lead in the film, which is produced by Suriya, Jyothika and Jaishree Damodaran. Sushin Shyam is composing the music.
With its censor certification secured and runtime finalized, Scene is now heading towards its November 6 release. The film’s box-office prospects will become clearer once it reaches theatres.
