A little preface here: according to our box office tracker, Vijay opened his innings at the box office with a humongous 23 crores for ‘Mersal’, Rajini’s ‘Kabali’ opened up with solid Rs.19 crores, Ajith’s ‘Vivegam’ had Rs.17 crores on its opening. What are we talking about here?

Well, you know which other only star is the only one to join the big league of having a double-digit opening? It’s none other than Sivakarthikeyan with ‘Seemaraja’. Yes, the film has opened up with Rs.10 crores BO collection on the very first day. One should also note here that 'Seemaraja' BO earnings have touched Rs.10 crore mark on opening day despite the early morning shows postponed and some even canceled.
