Official! Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran release date announced with an exhilarating making video

Sivakarthikeyan’s big actioner ‘Maaveeran’ is directed by the National Award-winner Madonne Ashwin of ‘Mandela’ fame. The makers wrapped up the filming recently and the movie is gearing up for a grand theatrical release. Today, the team launched an extensive making video with the release date reveal.

Produced by Shanthi Talkies, Maaveeran will hit the screens on August 11th. SK took to social media to share the making video. The featurette shows how the makers designed the sets and how much effort the DOP team has put in. It seems that the movie has night sequences as much as the day sequences. We also see the making of underwater and dance portions.

This making video also gives a first look at the primary characters played by Sivakarthikeyan, Mysskin, Aditi Shankar, Saritha, Sunil and Yogi Babu. The film is expected to have interesting action blocks throughout while SK plays a cartoonist. The technical team includes Bharath Shankar as the music composer, Vidhu Ayyanna as the DOP and Philomin Raj as the editor.
