Sivakarthikeyan's much-anticipated biopic drama "Amaran" is set for a grand Diwali release on October 31. The film, based on the life of the late army officer Mukund Varadarajan from Tamil Nadu, has already generated sky-high expectations among fans and cinephiles alike. With its recent censor clearance, "Amaran" has been issued a 'U/A' certificate by the CBFC, and details about the film are now making waves online.
Running for 2 hours, 48 minutes, and 56 seconds, the film promises to deliver an intense and emotional portrayal of a national hero. The censor board has made a few modifications, including adding disclaimers, muting certain controversial words, and correcting a map representation error. Produced by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, "Amaran" is expected to elevate Sivakarthikeyan's career to new heights.
Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Sivakarthikeyan steps into the role of Mukund Varadarajan, while Sai Pallavi plays his wife, Indhu.
