Legendary playback singer Vani Jayaram passed away on Saturday leaving fans in shock. She has sung close to an unbelievable 10000 songs in over 1000 films in a career spanning over five decades. Several political leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Kamal Haasan and other Indian film industry celebrities condoled her death.
A case of mysterious death was registered yesterday, due to wounds on Vani Jayaram’s body and the postmortem was conduct. The reports have come in and it is confirmed that the 77 year old fell off her bed and her head hit a two feet table that was beside the cot. Any foul play has been ruled out.
On the orders of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Vani Jayaram’s body will be cremated today with police honors.
