Recently, actor Simbu began shooting for his next movie, a quickie which is directed by acclaimed maker Suseenthiran and after this movie it was said that Simbu will resume shooting for his long delayed Maanaadu.

This movie which is yet to be titled will have Jayam Ravi starrer Bhoomi's heroine Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead, and director Bharathiraja who plays a key role in Maanaadu is also acting in this movie.

Now it has been speculated that the first look poster of this movie featuring Simbu's slim and trim new look will be released on eve of Vijayadashami festival. An official announcement can be expected soon. Produced by Madhav Media, this movie has music by S Thaman and cinematography by Tirru, editing by Anthony and art direction by Rajeevan.
