Debutant director Lokesh Kanakaraj's 'Maanagaram' which opened to phenomenal positive reviews on March 10, 2017 has successfully completed two weeks of houseful shows at the box office.
Interestingly the collections made by the film in its second weekend (March 17 to 19) is higher than that of its first weekend as far as Chennai Box Office is concerned.
In the just concluded weekend, the film was running in 12 theaters across the city and a total of 83 shows were screened. With 95% occupancy rate, the film has collected Rs.25,83,610. The total collection made by the film stands at Rs.67,11,280.

The success of the film could be attributed to word of mouth generated by the superb content of this film from predominantly newcomers in the cast and crew.
