The two major Tamil releases of the just passed weekend are G.V.Prakash Kumar starrer 'Bruce Lee' and Sibiraj starrer 'Kattappava Kaanom'. Lets see how the two films have performed in their opening weekend in the Chennai Box Office.
'Bruce Lee' got 22 screens falling within the limits of Chennai distribution area and the film got 223 shows screened in the first three days. With this the film ha collected Rs.52,64,370 with 55% occupancy and the trade calls it a Below Average Opening.
'Kattappava Kaanom' has performed slightly better. With 115 shows across 14 screens in Chennai the film has achieved 70% average occupancy and has collected Rs.20,28,670 and settled for an Average Opening verdict.
