Viral pic: Sheep wearing a bra for a reason

“Sheep in a bra! This photo is not staged,” said a farmer from the UK, only to see the pics of his bra-fied sheep go viral.

Why did the owner put on a bra on his sheep?  It’s not for fun.  There is a purpose and it’s touching.  “Rose (the sheep’s name) was pregnant with triplets, and the sheer weight of her udder damaged the Suspensory Ligaments that hang the heavy organ from her body. When this happens the udder can hang so low that it can be traumatized on the ground, and unless the situation can be corrected, is a cause for euthanasia,” says the owner.  

“If it stays large and uncomfortable, however, surgery to remove the udder may be the only option,” he adds.
