Mamitha Baiju was supposed to make Tamil debut in Suriya's 'Vanangaan' by director Bala. She later opted out of the project due to date issues. The actress is all set to enter Kollywood with GV Prakash's upcoming political drama, 'Rebel'. As per the latest reports, she has signed her second Tamil film. We hear that Mamitha is getting back-to-back offers in the K-town.

Mamitha Baiju is going to be the female lead in Vishnu Vishal's new film with director Ramkumar. This movie ('VV21'), which marks Vishnu and Ramkumar's third collaboration after 'Mundasupatti' and 'Ratsasan', is being filmed in Kodaikanal. Touted to be an intense fantasy love drama, this yet-to-be-titled movie is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films.
