Samantha’s 3 films releasing on same day

For the first time ever (perhaps), three films of an actress are hitting the screens on the same day – a bilingual, a straight film, and a dubbed one!

The actress in question is Samantha Akkineni.  ‘U Turn’, the mystery thriller, is set to head to theatres on September 13 in both Telugu and Tamil.  Directed by Pawan Kumar, the film is heroine-centric.  So, its success will definitely be a big shot in the arm for Sam.

In Tamil, ‘Seemaraja’ with Sivakarthikeyan is also arriving in the theatres on the same day.

And there is a third film.  The dubbed version of Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh’s ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is slated to release this September 13 in Tamil. The film has been titled ‘Nenjamellaam Pala Vannam’.
