Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finally addressed the controversy surrounding his alleged late arrivals on the sets of Sikandar and comments made by director AR Murugadoss. Speaking on the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman tackled the issue with his signature wit and a few sharp jabs aimed at the filmmaker.
When comedian Ravi Gupta asked Salman about films he regrets doing, the actor mentioned his 1992 releases Suryavanshi and Nishchay. However, regarding his recent projects, he stated, “I don’t regret doing any film in recent times. People might say Sikandar, but I don’t agree. The plot was very good.”
Addressing Murugadoss’ remarks about his punctuality, Salman clarified, “I used to arrive on sets by 9 PM, which caused some issues, but my rib was broken at the time,” defending himself against the director’s earlier claims. He also explained the production changes for Sikandar: “Initially, the film belonged to both AR Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Later Sajid left, and Murugadoss also stepped away to work on a South film.”

In a light-hearted but pointed comment, Salman added, “Recently, his other film, Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi, was released. The actor used to arrive on sets by 6. It’s a very big film and an even bigger blockbuster than Sikandar,” a remark fans quickly interpreted as a sarcastic jab.
Salman’s candid responses have gone viral, reigniting discussions about Sikandar’s troubled production and the reported rift between the actor and the director. True to form, Salman once again proved he never hesitates to speak his mind — especially when it comes to setting the record straight.
