In the case of 'Killing Veerappan' and 'Vangaveeti', Ram Gopal Varma claimed that he was showing the truth as he knew it. With 'Kadapa' (touted to be the first international web series in Telugu), he has gone a step ahead. "This is not the truth as I know it. This IS THE TRUTH," he says.

Chronicling the murderous journeys involving the factionists of Kadapa, the web series liberally uses the quotations of Raja Reddy, Paritala Ravi and even Bhagavad Gita.

The violence in the trailer is raw and, if you are weak-hearted, it can actually be unpalatable for you. Ramu goes bombastic right from the word go. "People in Rayalaseema believe that men are born with a sword in their hand," the trailer says at the very beginning.

We are told that the story tells the factionalism as it happened among/with the people of a particular caste group. "If the temple of factionist violence is Rayalaseema, its inner sanctum is Kadapa," narrator Varma says. Even Parachuri Brothers couldn't think of this!

The web series is "coming soon".
