Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to dominate the big screen once again with his upcoming high-octane action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The makers have officially announced the release date: the film will hit theatres worldwide on December 24, 2026, making it a grand Christmas festive release.

This marks the second collaboration between SRK and Siddharth Anand after the blockbuster Pathaan (2023), which crossed over ₹1000 crore worldwide and revived the spy universe in Indian cinema. With such massive success behind them, expectations for King are sky-high.

The film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, is reportedly being made on a massive budget of around ₹350 crore. It features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone in the female lead, SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan making her theatrical debut, and Abhishek Bachchan in a key antagonistic role. Other supporting actors include names like Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and more (as per ongoing reports).
