‘Rangamarthanda’, featuring an ensemble cast comprising of the versatile Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna, is directed by Krishna Vamsi.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has lent his voice to the movie, today shared his experience of knowing its subject matter. “When Krishna Vamsi came to me with the request, I felt someone else might be suitable to lend his voice. The director then told me I am an actor who will bring my whole persona to the film, I was convinced. ‘Rangamarthanda’ is about an actor’s loneliness. I owned the story and narrated it as if it were my own life. I am glad Maestro Ilaiyaraaja garu has endorsed it,” the ‘Waltair Veerayya’ actor said.
Chiru said that Maestro’s music has enhanced the appeal of the film multi-fold.
Also featuring Shivatmika Rajasekhar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, playback singer and actor Rahul Sipligunj, Aadarsh Balakrishna and Tanikella Bharani, the remake is produced by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu.
