Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up to entertain audiences with a refreshing emotional drama titled Aakasamlo Oka Tara, directed by Pavan Sadineni. Produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under Geetha Arts, Swapna Cinema and Lightbox Media, the film features newcomer Satvika Veeravalli as the female lead, alongside Shruti Haasan and Ruhani Sharma in important roles.
After creating curiosity with its glimpse, teaser and promotional posters, the makers have kick-started the musical promotions with the release of the first single, ‘Radhe Radhe’.
The song promo introduced an interesting conversation between Dulquer Salmaan and Ruhani Sharma, who plays Bijili. It suggests that people generally travel to Gujarat for two reasons – either to visit Dwarka or to work in the coal mines. The full song now reveals that Dulquer’s character has travelled all the way to Gujarat to earn a living by working in the coal mines. But there is an emotional reason behind this difficult journey.
Music composer GV Prakash Kumar once again showcases his strength in creating soulful melodies. The composition carries a beautiful emotional depth, perfectly complementing the protagonist’s struggles and inner feelings. GV Prakash Kumar has also sung the track, with Lipsika Bhashyam joining him on vocals. Both singers bring the required emotional touch to the composition.
However, lyricist Sreemani deserves special appreciation for his meaningful writing. His lyrics beautifully reflect the protagonist’s silence, struggles, hard work and determination. The emotional revelation that his challenging journey is driven by love adds another layer of intrigue to the song.
Dulquer Salmaan looks convincing in his character. His expressions reveal the pain of someone who has left something precious behind. Though his character appears composed on the outside, his eyes convey a deep sense of loss and emotional conflict. Dulquer brings these contrasting emotions alive with his natural performance. Ruhani Sharma, as Bijili, appears to be an important companion in his journey.
‘Radhe Radhe’ is an impressive beginning to the film’s musical promotions. Beyond being a melody, the song offers a glimpse into the protagonist’s emotional world and establishes the importance of music in narrating his story. It also leaves audiences curious about the circumstances that brought him to Gujarat.
On the technical front, Sujith Sarang handles the cinematography, while GV Prakash Kumar composes the music. Shwetha Sabu Cyril takes care of the production design.
Aakasamlo Oka Tara is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on November 20, 2026, across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
