Ram Charan wants to be a part of global franchises

Franchise movies hold the attention of viewers across the world. From Marvel movies to others, we have seen a number of spectacle outings rule the hearts around the world.

At a time when cinema is fast globalizing and becoming cross-cultural, Ram Charan wants to become a part of the never-seen-before trend. “I want to be part of every franchise that is loved by the audience in different cultures. Cinema is becoming global. It’s blurring boundaries and I feel so fortunate to be part of the film industry at a time when this globalization is happening,” says the Mega Power Star in his latest interview with Entertainment Tonight, a Los Angeles-based media house.

He respects Hollywood filmmakers like JJ Abrams and the genius Quentin Tarantino.

In the interview, the ‘Rangasthalam’ star opined that ‘Naatu Naatu’ has become everyone’s song at a time when ‘RRR’ itself has become a homegrown national cinema movement.

Charan is looking forward to Sundays’ Oscar event where ‘Naatu Naatu’ is most likely going to win the Best Original Song award.
